AXPONA (Audio Expo North America) 2025 was a big one for us. Rhythm brands played in six distinct listening rooms, and several of them held something nobody in North America had heard before.
Goldmund: Rhea, Eidos and the Telos 2800
Swiss legend Goldmund debuted its Rhea active wireless loudspeakers and the Eidos streamer. Each Rhea speaker carries 650W of Goldmund Telos amplification, and Goldmund rates it down to 26.5Hz.
Then came another North American debut for Goldmund: the Telos 2800 monoblocks, shown with the Mimesis Signature preamplifier, the Mimesis PH3.8 NextGen phono preamplifier and, again, the Eidos.
Marten: the Mingus Quintet 2 Statement
Those Telos 2800s had a worthy partner. Marten's Mingus Quintet 2 Statement loudspeakers made their North American debut in the same system.
All told, Marten loudspeakers played in five rooms at AXPONA 2025. This luxury brand from Gothenburg, Sweden, has taken off globally, and the USA is next.
Luxman at 100
Japanese great Luxman is celebrating 100 years, and AXPONA saw the premiere of its limited Centennial Editions: the L-509Z integrated amplifier, PD-151 MkII turntable, NT-07 streamer and D-07X SACD (Super Audio CD) player and DAC (digital-to-analog converter). Sweden's Marten gave voice to the Centennial system with the Parker Quintet Diamond.
Luxman began in Osaka in 1925, at the dawn of radio broadcasting.
Anne Bisson, live

The legendary Anne Bisson, the Canadian jazz singer and pianist renowned for her breathtaking vocals and exquisite artistry, gave two live performances in our rooms: Friday afternoon with the Luxman Centennial system, and Saturday afternoon with the Goldmund Rhea. Her ability to convey emotion through her music is simply unparalleled, and witnessing her live is a truly special experience.
Jorma cabling, handmade in Gothenburg from 99.99999% pure copper, connected most of the systems.
If you missed the show, you can still hear these components. Explore Goldmund, Marten, Luxman and Jorma, and find a Rhythm dealer near you.
