There's a new milestone in analog playback: the Luxman E-07 phono amplifier. Luxman set out to redefine the standards of performance and sound quality in phono amplification, and the E-07 is the result.

The E-07 is an all-solid-state phono equalizer amplifier, built on Luxman's long experience with the crucial job of handling the minute signals that come off a phono cartridge. It's designed to amplify the emotional nuances of the music accurately and carefully, delivering a rich, dynamic sound that is unmistakably Luxman.

Built around your cartridge

For MC (moving coil) cartridges, the E-07 has newly developed step-up transformers with super permalloy cores: two independent units for each channel, with Low and High gain, so the right transformer is always in play.

It takes a balanced XLR input for MC cartridges plus two pairs of unbalanced RCA inputs, enough for a wide range of analog setups. If you run more than one turntable or tonearm, you can keep them all connected and switch between them. On the front panel, a six-position rotary selector sets MC load impedance. Around back, switches set load impedance and capacitance for MM (moving magnet) cartridges, so you can dial in exactly what your cartridge wants.

The Articulator, and other good ideas

The E-07's Articulator uses the music signal itself to demagnetize the cartridge and step-up transformers. There's also a low-cut switch for warped records and a Mono Mode switch for playing mono records properly.

Inside, a high-grade chassis with a loopless structure keeps noise down, and three robust, independent power transformers keep the current supply stable.

We're confident the E-07 will be a highly sought-after product for discerning vinyl enthusiasts. Download the E-07 brochure (PDF), explore Luxman at Rhythm, and find a Rhythm dealer to hear it with your own records.
