Jorma makes audio cables by hand in Gothenburg, Sweden, using 99.99999% pure copper. Its aim is to carry music with nothing added to the original signal and nothing taken away.

Jorma Koski started the company single-handedly in 2001. His first product grew out of solving a cable insulation problem. He worked closely with the loudspeaker maker Marten and showed alongside it at audio shows. Marten took over Jorma in 2016, and Marten still voices its speakers with Jorma cables today.

In April 2024, Jorma introduced its new flagship series, Paragon, beginning with the Paragon Power cord. It uses 4mm² copper conductors, a triple-layer shield against electrical, radio and magnetic interference, custom Furutech connectors, and cryogenic treatment that Jorma says strengthens the conductor's metal structure.

In September 2024, Jorma named Rhythm its exclusive distributor in the United States. “Together, we aim to deliver the most transparent, natural listening experiences to music lovers in the U.S.,” said Bernt Jansson, Jorma's head of production.

We heard the case for ourselves in Sweden. Our visit to the Jorma factory and listening rooms convinced us that every audiophile should experience Jorma before making their next cable purchase.
